I just read that for the first time in history the north pole will have open waters where ships can go through. All throughout history its been know to not have land, but a solid mass of ice. Each year the ice has become thinner and thinner through the southern months. What happens when there is no more ice at the north pole? Is it worth fighting for if it ever comes to that?
