It is absolutely inevitable.

Every civilization throughout history has always thought its wars were the worst of it, and that peace would reign from then on.  And always there is another conflict another "world war"  It may not be within your lifetime, but it will happen sooner or later.

Because of human nature, people will always be in conflict, and then one day, hopefully not too soon, it will escalate to a point that will start a new world war.
