Do you think there should be a designated area in public for cell phone users?

sorta like smoking areas use to be...let the little cell phone abusers and loud talkers all be confined to one room. Do you like my idea?

Yes, definitely.  We have signs posted at our front counter at work that says "please step out into the hall if you need to talk on your cell phone"  But so many people ignore this

No. I wish they were. They really lose their mind about everything and all the people near them when they're on a cell phone and then they are in a whole different world.

Hope they learn the meaning of considerate.

Maybe to an extent.  I would say like in restaurants and stuff have designated cell phone areas where a person has to get up and go to to use their phone.  In NYC ive heard they are putting service down in the subways so people can get service down there, but apparently on the train itself you wont get any service so only in the waiting areas.

Not really.  It's a tad overboard if you ask me.  People have places to be and things to do.  That's why they run around talking on cell phones.  Making them talk inside a confined area would work against the point of having cell phones.

No, I think your idea is unrealistic and self serving.  I think you should just suck it up.  Is it really that bad or are you just completely intolerant?
