Yes, I am predicting at least one major hurricane strike on the United States. I predict this event will occur at the end of August or sometime in September. Colorado State University predicted four major hurricanes, but my prediction is one at the least.

I think so yes.  There is actually a wave out in the atlantic right now that might hit the east coast coast later on next week.  That might turn into a major hurricane.  Still a long ways away though.  Just making a prediction even though it may be wrong.  

EDIT:  An answer to your question halt, Major by definition is anything storm from Cat 3 and up.

I see you clarified that it must make landfall in the USA.

Can you clarify what 'MAJOR' means?  There are generally 5 categories of hurricanes.  Do you specifically mean a Category 5 (the biggest), or anything Category 3 and above?
