Repercussions in Cuba don't matter much. He's banned from international competition forever, and his coach probably is as well. What else should happen to him? His career is gone, without his career he'll have no prestige at home or abroad. He's toast.

He's banned for live which is a good thing - what a disgrace he is.

I dont know what the Cuban culture is towards that kind of behaviour but I suspect he will be repremanded and probably treated like an outcast in the Taekwondo circles.

Will be interesting to see if the referee will take further action against the cuban...I know I would!

i dont think they will be too bothered, one of their boxers decided to bite James DeGale on the chest in the final, they are a dirty bunch of fighters im sure they will hold a celebration for them.

and yea hes banned i reckon the whoel of cuba should be banned though they clearly show no respect.
