  1. No, maybe after this Iraq war. Desert Storm was like a chapter before this. George Bush Sr. fought the same guys just only to the border of Iraq and left them alone, now Bush jr. is cleaning up after his dad

  2. Yes, its just a matter of time.

  3. No, not a full one on the National Mall. Maybe a statue or memorial somewhere in America. Sure, why not? Veterans need to recognized!

  4. I think there should be a memorial for EVERY battle/conflict the United States participated in - when a military man or woman gives their life for their country it seems to be overlooked these days - a memorial shows our support for thier efforts and giving their life was not in vein -

    - and I pose a question for you and everyone else who reads this:  When 9/11 happened, the civilian families of those who died in the Twin Towers or aircrafts were given compensation - the families of military men and women who died in the Pentagon, Twin Towers or who were on the aircraft only received military death benefits - something wrong with that picture!

  5. Casualties were not that high. However, the greatest single casualty toll came from a Scud missile which hit a barracks and killed members of the 14th Quartermaster Detachment of the Army Reserve from Pennsylvania. A monument to their memory and sacrifice sits in front of the Army Reserve Center in Greensburg, PA.

  6. Not likely!  Desert Storm was more of a rout than a war.
