There is a chance.  But if you try to hard for a girlfriend that may backfire on you.  Try to be open for friendships with girls rather than pushing to have a girlfriend.  If it gets out that you just want a girlfriend, then a girl you are interested in may not feel that your interest in her is special.  Be yourself, and develop interest that you can share with girls.
