  1. You have the right idea with those, but you should take care making the sentences more developed, and you should also check on your spelling and grammar. (it's heavy, not havy)

    I get the feel that you're trying to write a romantic/dramatic story...am I right?

If you could say what kind of story you're trying to write, I'd be happy to give you some story openers.

Now as for names, it's your own book. Your own brain child. I suggest not using common names because having a unique name makes the character more your own.

I love names that are gems, such as Topaz, Pearl, Ruby or Amethyst. I also like seasons, like April, May, June, Summer and Spring. I would suggest going to a website for baby names. I find those really helpful when I'm writing stories.

    I hope I helped! :-)

  4. As Sweet Surrender has said, those aren't bad ways to start a story, but they could definitely be more developed. Also try and give the main character's name something that involves the theme of the story, but not overly obvious.I would use a baby name site, that's what I do if I am stuck for a name for a character.

  5. i dont like them cuz they are tpo simple. Also they all satrt with as....

  6. Here is how I would start the story:

The droplets of cold rain covered Mason's troubled face.

A faint whisper woke Jason and he heard a strange, calm murmur calling "Jaaasooon".

The cold gray sky opened it's arms and downy snow flakes fell as if looking for somewhere to rest.

Steve's gray intellegent eyes began to drop as if his eyelids were made of lead.

The rain began to intensify as Carlos nervously drifted to sleep.

    Hope these help.
