I'm trying to get into Digital Media Arts College in Boca Raton Florida. However, my skill is alot stronger but i have only had 1 drawing course so far in a community college. Let me know if these are good enough or "Okay"...in regards to being accepted.

  1. hmmm....you're getting there. I think you have potential.

I don't mean to say this to discourage you, but you need to practise more?

in regards to drawing the hands, learn more about anatomy. also with the perspective, you should be at a level where you can draw perspective convincingly if you want to get accepted into art school.

so practise and go to more drawing classes!!! especially life drawing classes.

don't worry bout the person who said they look like middle school drawings because you will get better, and i'm sure you will improve quickly if you work hard :)

art college is competitive, so just practise like crazzzyy....cuz seriously, it's tough competition with lots of ppl being able to draw really well but i think you have the raw potential that just needs to be refined.....

  2. i think you could use a little bit of practice and some better pencils :) if you are serious about drawing go out and buy prismacolor pencils... you will be REALLY suprised how much nice pencils can help out :) good luck!

  3. Depends on the college. I once made the mistake of going for a technical college that made me show them my work. But when I was accepted and went to class, there were people there who never really drew in their life and were accepted because the school just wanted the money for tuition. So if they just want the money like that, then yes you would get in.

Now, if we are talking about a true art school. No. you would not be able to get in with your artwork you currently have. I don't like to discourage people, but your art work looks all the same. Maybe show different ranges, different mediums.

One thing that is good about MEDIA art, is you don't necessarily have to be the one that is drawing. you could be doing a lot more of the technical aspects.

So what I would suggest is, practicing a bit more, get a bit more range in there, and make it appoint to let them know you are wanting to be involvedved in the technical aspects. Like someone doing the art work and you do the layout of the brain storming.

  4. ehhhhh i agree with the 1st person

try a little harder,....maybe draw a person or something unsemetrical

my brothers gf's brother drew them together with big heads nd small bodys on skateboards nd i thought that was pretty wiked

  5. To Be Brutaly Honest No They Look More Like Middle School Drawings...Sorry But With Some More Effort I Think You Would Create Something Better.
