Do you think they have lip ring retainers?

at those body jewlrey stands in the mall?

almost every mall ive been to has a stand like that but ive never actually looked for the clear retainers?

does anyone know if they have them there?

or where i can get one?

I don't think so unfortunately.  I just got my tongue pierced 3 weeks ago, and I needed a clear retainer, so I went to the stand thing at the mall, but they didn't have them!  So I had to order it online :(  I suggest doing the same.  Good luck!

and if they do, they're most likely acrylic

So if you're putting it in a piercing thats still healing, it will become infected because it releases enzymes into your skin.

If its a fresh piercing it has to be either glass or quartz.

Just order one on the web, they're very inexpensive but if you cant then go to a specialized piercing shop, perhaps a tattoo parlor, and check with them they should have some.

of course there are!

get a quartz one (it's a type of glass). don't get a plastic one (bioplast, tygon, acrylic), as they aren't meant for long term use in the body.
