Do you think this 7 game homestand at Wrigley has been the toughest homestand this season?

We know the Cubs still have the best record in the majors, and they will eventually win the NL Central division title, regardless of what happens to the Milwaukee Brewers.

However, I am concerned mainly with their offense. Do you contribute the Cubs' lack of offense towards the opponents' pitching or simply poor execution, fatigue and a lot of impatience? Has it affected their defense and pitching?

I can't fathom how damaging an Astros sweep would be, but I feel Ryan Dempster needs to do everything he can to prevent that very scenario from happening, and with more ofense.

Do you think this rough homestand will motivate the Cubs during their road trip through Cincinnati, St. Louis and Houston and their last homestand?

As a die hard Cubs fan, I can say this homestand isn't tough.  We are going through a tough time.  We aren't used to losing at Wrigley, but Houston is on fire right now.  They have won 8 straight now and we didn't really start lighting the bats on fire until last night.  Here's a great idea, Howry has been a bust this year.  I would let him go because we have the best bullpen we've had in years.  All of our pitching has improved.  I think Z went from our Ace to our 3rd pitcher.  I think that Dempster and Harden should top our rotation.  We just need to get the consistancy back and stop swinging for the fences and that would eliminate some of the strikeouts and fly outs.  Base hits are what we have won by in the past, let's stick with it.  We still have a 4.5 game lead over Milwaukee.  We will be fine.  We will do alright on the road.  Every team faces a 4 game losing streak.  Dempster will get us back on track tonight.  GO CUBS GO, GO CUBS GO, HEY CHICAGO WHAT DO YOU SAY, THE CUBS ARE GONNA WIN TODAY!!!
