Team A (my team): Bengie Molina, Tim Hudson, Juan Pierre

for

Team B: Brian McCann (dropping: Carlos Gomez, Michael Bourn)

My team is pretty solid across the board, but I wanted to upgrade my C and make room for a SP pickup (none of them are droppable).Team B is looking for a solid SP, a quality C, and a decent replacement for Gomez & Bourn (both on FA in all my other leagues).

I'm in first place by 11.5 games and Team B is in third, 13.5 games behind.. both still very much in contention. I just wanted to get other people's perspectives on this deal since no one in my league is giving me any real reasons for Vetoing.

  1. bengie is the only good one on your team. it is a good deal

  2. They probably vetoed it because team B is getting a top pitcher, and a very serviceable catcher, in exchange for one of the better catchers in the league.

Additionally, Team B is getting 3 starters (assuming that is why they are dropping 2 players to get your trades)

  3. Definitely a close enough trade that is should NOT be vetoed.

McCann is a solid fantasy performer, but you are giving up guys that should make up for his numbers. So the numbers part is fair.

And you are getting what you need, and trades don't always have to be completely fair, just so long as both teams get what they need.

I agree, that trade should not have been vetoed, even in the first place.
