I hope not. I'm getting tired of reading about this one, especially since he has convinced her not to take a DNA test. Hopefully, the other women will come out of the woodwork this week.

Actually, my guess is that he has had affairs throughout his marriage and someone who cheats especially when his wife is dying of cancer deserves to have the media jump all over him. On the other hand, uncovering and publicizing his affairs isn't how Elizabeth Edwards should have to spend her last days on this earth. I don't blame the media for this though, I blame John Edwards. She may already know about his affairs.

Bringing down politicians who are too high on themselves is a great sport for the media and the public. Unfortunately, the wives and the children pay a price.

**As an Australian I don't know much about John Edwards and have only just heard about him cheating on his wife this morning.  I doubt it was his first time cheating, I agree with you, just the first time that he got caught.

I believe cheating is slow but cheating while you're partner is sick, battling cancer is just terrible.  Bill Clinton may have done the wrong thing by Hiliary but at least she wasn't battling the fight of her life while he was off with another bird.

They've been saying something about a 'secret love child' with this bird Edwards had an affair with ... will be interesting to see if anything comes of that.**

The investigative reporters and researchers who have done 8 months of research into records including interviews of witnesses can document at least 7 other women and one man as well who he had affairs with and they are going to come out into the public to confess that they were also lovers of John Edwards. Pictures, phone calls, letters and emails will also be provided. Therefore, the answer is "YES" and its a scary thought that this guy was attempting to run for the most important office in the World.

No, unfortunately I think most politicians are unfaithful to their spouses.  It's just unfortunate that he cheated on his wife as she was battling cancer.

I think the men who are prone to cheating could answer this question, but i think this is the first time he got caught. Most men who cheat, repeat the behavior over and over again. The only cure seems to be death. When Edwards paid $400 for that haircut, we should have been suspicious, that he was not the only one in love with him. ë¿~ I suspect a parade of women to come out of the woodwork, some honest, some just trying for 15 min. of fame.

Whether you're a politician or a rock star, you are a high profile person that attracts more of the opposite s*x then the average person because more people know who you are and wants to be with someone powerful. Look throughout history at the number of famous people who have been caught in affairs. Rock stars and movie stars are the most prolific, but so are politicians. Eisenhower, Kennedy, FDR, Clinton and so it is of no surprise that John Edwards is in that group. Who knows if it's his first affair, if it's not, I'm sure the other women will be coming out of the woodwork soon.  This type of news seems to give people their 15 minutes of fame and so they call the inquirer.

honestly i dont think so. the dude got cash, he aint ugly, and he has loads of time on his hands since his pooh wife is dying he has no job other than talking shite for obama.   i think he got his comeuppance since he sided with NASTY OBAMA over our girl Hill!   Hillary Hillary!!!!  i  think she had something to do with this. haha  now he wont oppose her in 2012.  Obama loses in 2008 and Hillary is crowned queen for 8 years.
