  1. It looks abit hippyish & for a 25 yr old, just buy her a fahionable red backpack.

  2. I love that bag - I own it myself. It works very well but I would only considering buying it if it's not only for school. I use it for school, the beach, gym... If it's only for school, I suggest something from American Eagle, they're affordable and cute :D

  3. wen i was a 11 i said no!!!!! let the kid pick oh and it looks like poo

  4. no

  5. i had my ten year old girl look at it and she said it is ugly and ppl would make fun of her and why dont you just ask your kid

  6. There's no way I'd buy an $80 bag for an 11-year-old!

Plus, it looks like a diaper bag.............

  7. no she needs a backpack but the material is fine

  8. I think it's a fine bag if she likes it and thinks it's cool, but I am sure you can find the same one for cheaper somewhere else?

  9. i love it.  i actually got one to use as a book bag for HS (grade 11) and it was alot to small it ended up as a purse.  i did find that american eagle, hollister and abercrombie have nice, large tote bags that like everyone uses at my HS most are made of canvas and can withstand the weight of the books and binders etc.  also alot of girls use the ll bean boat and totes for their books.

  10. Its  really ugly for the price, and it looks like a 47 yr old lady would carry it lol no get her something a little more youthful for that age , I showed my girls and the laughed

  11. Why would you pay that much for a child's backpack?  All of my girls get plain backpacks in their favorite colors and add things from craft stores to decorate them.  My 8 and 5 year olds have the same ones for the past couple of years.  My oldest will be getting a new one this year as she will be entering high school, but it will still be decorated as an 11 year old would decorate them because she is only 11.

  12. It's expensive for an 11 year old!

  13. It's kinda cute, I don't think it's nessicarily innappropriate.. but it's really expensive and looks like it's for older people ( not like teenagers, like 30-40 year old women ).

Get a tote bag from Abercrombie or something, I got a tote from their in 7th grade.

  14. it's kinda cute, but aren't those bags for old people?

  15. i think that bag is so cute, that actually is my diaper bag! i would use it. i dont see why not

  16. I don't think suits a 6th grade child with so many books. It is expensive too.

  17. ya i think that bag it toddly cute i think she will like im going onto 7th  grade i would wear it

  18. My grand daughter said No. Her friends would tease her.

  19. The problem with using a tote for carrying heavy books everyday is that you might develop scoliosis (curvature of spine: an excessive, sideways curvature of the spine). Because when you have it on one shoulder all year long it can mess up your shoulders, spine, and back. Having a spinal problem is not the way to go. Try a regular backpack with maybe the same print or color that you liked in the tote.

Some websites that have backpacks are listed in the source area.

  20. uh no just get a regular backpack

the bag is hideous anyway.i have a 12 year old and she would kill me if i bought her that.

    also it's to0 expensive for a 11 year old

  21. I wouldn't buy that for my children. I would buy it for my mother.

  22. Honestly No. That's something I've seen a lot of highschool girls wearing and it's a little too much for an 11 year old.

Buy her a nice actual backpack. Ones that don't look like tote bags or a purse.

I'm sure theres gotta be a nice old fashioned BACK PACK that you two will agree on.

  23. It's not a backpack---it's a tote bag.

I wouldn't pay $80 for a tote bag for your child to use for school, it's just going to get ripped by the end of the school year from lugging around heavy books.

I would just buy a regular backpack---they're cheaper and will work better.

  24. not for an 11 year old boy  !   lol

  25. at my middle school we are not aloud to wear back packs.  a lot of people have bags.  that is a little too much for an 11 year old though.

  26. For an 11 year old? Nah... for a high-schooler/college/+ totally... A book bak (as in a regular one) should do good... Especially if the person is 11...also, all of my bookbags have broken...and i've had a few like that, and a few traditional... in school, I would stick to the big rolly ones...it's the only one not tattered by all the school books!

  27. I think that your kid needs a bag. She has been held back in her school by a year so she needs to be able to at least carry some books!

  28. It's not practical. If you are into the expensive stuff (sorryyy poooor college student speaking), then go to LL BEAN or somewhere that seels actual backpacks. Because I have a feeling that using that bag would do more damage (to her spine when she carries textbooks in it) than good. Yes, it's cute, but there are equally cute backpacks out there. :)

  29. Let her make her own bed on this one; tell her if she really wants it (since it's an expensive back for an 11 year old!) then she has to save up for it. That way you'll be sure it's something she *really* wants, and not just some pre-teen trend that will result in the bag being shoved to the back of closet because "it's so last month".

  30. I love Vera bags and actually have the same pattern in the large luggage tote! Here in NYC you see many girls with them of all ages. The good thing about the bag is that it will last a long time. Go by the child's style and the amount you are willing to spend.

  31. What bag.
