my fiance is a total car guy and i feel like i have to drag him from it sometimes lol....I was looking at cake toppers on here for someone else and I found this. Do you think its cute? I may have to get this one...i had another one in mind, but now i might have changed my mind hehe.

this is the same one we are using (expcet the guy is just a normal guy, no specialty attached).  Well we are either doing this one or the one where the guy is sitting there shackled and the bride is twirling the key. lol

I think it's really cute, and funny, as long as you have a sense of

It's very cute, I just love it! It's up to the both of you whether you use it for your cake top or not, but if you think you'll be bothered by peoples comments or opinions you have several options.

You can get a traditional topper and use this one on one of the wider cake tiers, or you can ask the baker to separate one of layers with pillars that would allow you to fit this topper in between tiers, or you can place this one on the cake table as part of the table decorations, you can even have just a one layer small cake on the table to the side of the cake with this topper on it. I like the idea, this particular one just doesn't look nice to me. I thought the little guy was hurt when I first saw it since he was laying down like that. I may just be a weirdo and it may be better in person though, it just was my first impression.  

How about a model car of some sort?

ADD: I looked at some of the other pictures. The whole thing looks better than the first picture.

That topper is cute. I agree.

In my opinion, that would be great on a smaller grooms cake.  Even though your fiance is a car fanatic, he totally loves you (right?!)  Your wedding is celebrating your commitment to each other and your future life, so I think the wedding cake should still be symbolic of your love and devotion to each other.

Then, have another smaller cake with that topper if you and he agree that it would be in spirit of humor.

Love it!  You may want to search around too for a better price.  I'm sure other retailers have it.

They also have people out there who do custom wedding cake toppers so they look exactly like the bride & groom.  That's what I did.

I think it is great, but I do agree with the criticism from the traditionalists.

I heard so much about our cake topper. We had figurines from The Corpse Bride as our topper, which received loads of remarks.

Do what I did, get exactly what you want and ignore the naysayers.

I think that it is funny, but I would never use it. If you have that kind of scene of humor then it would be perfectly appropriate for your wedding.

I think this is awesome. This would be the ideal cake topper for my guy as well. At least their mechanically inclined. I think the topper rocks.

I think it's cute but don't break the bank on the cake topper.  no one really notices it.  I've been to like 20 weddings in recent years and I don't remember one topper I've seen.  in june a friend of mine told me what her topper was gonna be and I don't remember seeing it at the wedding last month.  maybe I'm just not very observant!
