Do you think this diet plan is alright?

well im 5ft 5 and 13 years old. i weight about 125 pounds, but feel really fat - and have belly flab =[

i feel really awful like im carrying extra luggage so im changing my diet:

Breakfast - 2 Weetabix and one banana

Snack (at break at school) - nuts / a fruit pot from the canteen =]

Lunch - 1 or 2 sandwiches with cucumber / lettuce and mayonaise or whatever, a portion of grapes...maybe a few biscuits and some water or a juice

Tea / After School: a small snack from home ( dont know what that will be lol)

Dinner: Well im indian so indian most nights..but healthy stuff lol

Desert: Another fruit, or something like strawberries with melted chocolate...(but not everyday)

this plan might change every now and then (but still with healthy stuff)

how many pounds do you think i would be able to loose within four weeks if i stick to this diet? i'll be doing 1 hour excercises twice a week and about half an hours worth of walking a day...but i might do some excercises at home for about half an hour a day.

is this a good diet plan and how many pounds do you think i could loose in 4 weeks?

  1. 5'5" 125 lbs sounds normal to me, even on the thin side.  Why do all you young girls feel you have to weigh the same or less than someone else?  You'll waste your whole youth lamenting being fat and hating yourself, then in a few years you'll have a couple of kids and ACTUALLY be fat, and you'll wonder why you didn't enjoy your teen years and appreciate your normal, healthy body.

    Ugh.  Sorry, I just had a flashback to my youth.

    There's no reason you can't have your chocolate with strawberries, just don't eat it on an empty stomach, only after a complete balanced meal.

    This book has great health information, it would really be a great read for you and give you the information you need to be healthy for the rest of your life, without yo-yo dieting for the next 30 years and ruining your health:

    "Lean & Free 2000 Plus" it's available on amazon.com, used for a great price.  (Under $5.00.)

    Low calorie dieting doesn't work.  Insane exercise doesn't work.  It just makes you hate yourself because your willpower will eventually fail and you gain all the weight back, plus more.  Don't start doing all that.  Just keep doing what you're doing, eating healthy and not counting calories, just satisfying your body's nutritional and caloric needs, and gently exercising.  Don't go crazy with all this stuff, it will only make you miserable.  Please, trust me.  I've been there, done that.  And get the book, it goes into great detail and will help you so you never get fat like I did.

    muscle eats fat

    I think your plan to clean up your eating habits are great and will definatley benifit you as you get older

    But main thing, get active, start jogging, play sports, have fun.

    don't concern yourself about your weight your 13, too many young girls do that now a days, focus on being healthy and happy

  3. Hiya, first off you aren't overweight at all and your BMI is a healthy 20.8, which is actually near the low end of healthy so you don't really need to loose any weight.

    The best thing for you to do if you want to tone up is to introduce a bit of activity. This can be something like swimming or dancing and doesn't have to be boring or take up too much time twice a week sounds good to start off with.

    Your breakfast and snacks sound fine, aswell as eating pleanty of fruit and drinking water which is good for your health generally. please try not to worry about needing to lose weight, and just focus on getting healthier if you want to feel better about yourself.

  5. that sounds like a good balance. I f it somehow doesnt work i have one that makes you lose around 5 pounds every week, all you have to do is cut out bread, chips, and sweets out of ur diet. You DONT snack, but in mealtimes you can eat as much as you like. You can only drink water. You can have fruit juice - but only with meals.

I'd skip the fruit pot at school and just take a banana or apple or something, the fruit pot might have extra calories that you dont want to add to your intake if you dont need to, i'd also stick to 1 sandwich at lunch and wouldn't put melted chocolate on your desert at anytime during the week

    I do think that it is possible to lose weight with your plan but i wouldnt eat anything more than what is on your plan

    In four weeks i think you will be able to lose around 5- 7 lbs, depends on how much effort you put into your exercise, it could be double that

  7. carry on with o little and you will end up ill eat more walk more  

  8. stop watching braindead TV Programmes. your 13, your a kid eat sensibly dont over indulge.

  9. just remember you need protein in the morning ...milk/egg/cheese

    to keep you satisfied and from  over eating later

    fruits - apples lots of them !!  easy on the bananas 1 a week

    so excercise 1-2 hrs every day change it up

    walking ,bikeriding, yoga,cardio,weights - mix it up  

    water water water water water

    go to bed early so that you dont have a chance to eat late xtra calories
