Question:

Do you think this girl is really a friend?

My friend and I go to the same campus college. I don't carpool with her in the mornings, only at night. I asked her to drive me home if I pay (no car yet). So, I asked her to carpool with me and I will give her the gas money since she needs to drive probably around an extra 15 to drive me home and back. So I was planning on giving her around 50 dollars for this semester (about 4 months) along with drinks from time to time. I already paid half to her. She agreed. Then one week later, she said "hey do you want to pay for half of the parking permit?" That's gonna cost me 50 bucks. If you were in my situation, will you pay her that 50 dollars for parking or will you just say you can't pay it? Or will you just take the bus home? Because either way, she still needs to go to school and park. do you think she's taking advantage of me? Or do you think she was fair? Because even if I did not ride with her, she still has to pay the whole parking permit. And I only go home with her at night.

  1. Karma.  I'd pay for half of the parking.

  2. YES!!! Only $50 for 4 months? Gas prices are way up. Help pay for the permit.

  3. I would take the bus.

  4. maybe,,,,,,,,she don't have money**

  5. Be cool..pay it!

  6. They are never just "friends"

  7. if you have the money go ahead and pay your half.......if you had a car you would have to pay for your parking also.  So I don't really think it's that unfair to ask for gas and if she's driving you home......half of the parking only seems fair.
