Do you think this idea would take off?

Or actually, has there been any attempt at it? I'm quite sure there has.

See, Mother's day just passed and I am sure I was not the only one fishing through every Hallmark card there was in the bin and trying to find one that would fit the relationship I've had with my mom. If I were to send her a card that said "Mom, I appreciate the way you've always been there for me" or "Mom, you raised me with love and kindness", or "Mom, you sacrificed you're all for us", not only would it have been insincere, but it might have been downright insulting and damaging to her well being as well. My mom and I have been through a lot, and we still love each other, but our family, or whatever is left of it, is far from being the Brady Bunch. This has led me to an idea.

Starting a new line of cards . Cards that display the thoughts of family members and friends who have had a turbulent relationship. Cards that express the love without the gushy lies, like "you've always been there for me".
