i don't it look like something with fins and a reptilian head

  1. It's a skinned walrus.

    The rope is attached to the carcas at the hips... the head is lower left..  the tusks are still in the skull, [so it is young.. too young to be ivory tusked..]

    the front apendages are still atached..  the hide is all thats missing...  more or less.


  2. There's not enough showing in the photo to do any reasonable assessment to the species level.

    Remember, however, rare things happen rarely; it is highly unlikely that it is a plesiosaur.  Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.  The chances that any large animal species survives 64 million years is remote; the chances that a species survives 64 million years undetected is vanishingly small.  It is possible (the smaller the creature, the more likely), and it has happened occasionally (the Coelacanth being a notable instance), but it is very rare.

  3. definately a fish jaw.. not sure if it's a basking shark persay, could be a whale shark or megamouth, etc

  4. It looks like an octopus.
