Do you think this is a miscarriage? can you tell this early?

ok so i was on birth control. the ortho tri cyclin or whatever... well my fiance and i had s*x three weeks ago..and i was supposed to get my period on the 23..and it never came. yesterday i started spotting brown stuff and i have been having bad cramps and bad back pain..and then later in the day i had tons of blood clots that i've never had before. well then about an hour ago i was lookin in the clots and there was a little grayish thing. could it be a miscarriage? or is the grayish thing nothing? and the blood clots from my bc?

It's really hard to tell. The only way to be sure would be to go to your doctor. They'll be able to tell you if you were or not. I got pregnant on birth control and had a period and had absolutely NO idea until I finally missed one. So yea, I'd say you should call and make an appointment at your family doctor to check.
