Do you think this is approaite to give to my daughter's daycare teacher?

Its really nice

Check to make sure she is allowed to accept gifts.  Some teachers/day care staff by nature of their employment terms may not be able to accept gifts from the parents.

That's a sweet poem!  I think the picture is pretty cheesy though...you could always add your personality to the poem (print it on paper your daughter colors or paints..with author credited of course), add a picture of your daughter and frame it (walmart has good ones for $2-$5 near the photo lab).  It would mean more and the gift card would be a nice fun bonus :)
