Do you think this is going to end up in a tragedy?

My boyfriend and I have been arguing for a couple weeks. We havn't said I Love You for those couple weeks like we always used to say! But a couple days ago we made up and are fine now except one thing that is bugging me. We havn't said I love you yet. Does that mean anything bad you think??? I'm scared to lose him! We have been dating a little over a year and I don't know what I would do without him, He makes my life complete!

Kind of wondering why this is in Mythology and Folklore... but for what it's worth... DO you love him?  If so, sit him down and talk to him.  There's a difference between co-dependence "I can't live without him" and love... BIG difference.

The suggestion to listen to the song from Fiddler is a great one!  At least look up the lyrics if you can't listen to it.

Seriously though get it out in the open and quit worrying over it, the worry won't help and you never really know what he's thinking till you ask.

The more you dwell on it the worse it will get.  Taking each other for granted is always a problem  Try saying it without expecting a response.  And listen very carefully to the duet Do You Love Me from Fiddler on the Roof.
