Do you think this is harsh?

my 3 year old sister was puting her fingers in the socket so my mum pulled her away and said shouted "εάν βάλετε τα δάχτυλά σας στις υποδοχές, θα πάρετε άρρωστοι όπως το lottie!!!" which means "if u put ur fingers in the sockets you will be ill like lottie!!!" (who has leukimea). I think this is really harsh and my sister was crying and at 8.00 i tryed to get her to go to sleep but she wont and shes still awake crying, ive tried everything; books, toys, a drink.. its 10;30 or something and i want to go to sleep but i share a room with her. please help!!

She DEFINITELY needs to apologize, but she panicked, so I doubt she could've helped it.
