Question:

Do you think this is kind of creepy/weird?

I met this guy on eHarmony (not in person yet). Anyway, his profile says he's in Florida, but then he told me he's lived in London for several years now. We've written maybe 2 or 3 times back and forth. Most guys ask questions and tell me about themselves...there's no talk of love or commitment at this stage and I like it that way. But this guy keeps wanting my phone # even though I told him it would be too expensive bc my cell doesn't have an overseas plan. Here's the most recent e-mail:

"hi dearie

how was ur weekend?mine was great.i think we should make out time so we can chat and get to know eachother better,u dont know how much i think about u and miss u.i will love to have ur number so i can call u,i have an accent and i know u will love it.please let me know if thats ok with u and send me the number.have a beautiful week because a queen like u deserves the best.ciao"

It's sweet, but isn't it also kind of creepy? What do you think? What should I write back to him?

This is someone is crazy who says have a beautiful week!  Ditch this loser! He's lying about something for sure and it will be the first of many..

  7. last time i checked ciao was italian... creepy guy.

  8. Don't give this guy your number. I know it is possible he might not mean anything, but you never know with the internet these days. Here's what you do instead:

Tell him you'd be more than happy to exchange numbers when you get to know each other better first. Ask him more questions and make sure you know why it says he is living in Florida.

It is very possible that he wanted your number so you could get to know each other on the phone, so he could hear your voice and keep in touch. But you never know. Don't put yourself in a position that might bite you in the butt later. Never tell him your address, ever.

My opinion is, it's kind of pointless to talk to guys in other countries anyway because long distance relationships are already hard enough when you already KNOW the person. You don't even know this person, and if you do and like him, you will have to make decisions on if you can handle a long distance relationship.

I would try to find guys in your area, and get to know them as friends first!!

  9. I think it's creepy.  Plus, Yahoo has the wonderful voice chat feature that you should use before ever jumping to giving out your phone number to a stranger on the net.  If he can't use that, then he's not worth getting to know.

  10. why would he want ur moblie number if he has ur email?

  11. The web is full of people like that, maybe he's not a creep in the real world but he sure looks that way in print, better safe then sorry I always say so I'd cut off ties with this weirdo on the web

  12. his profile says florida and he says he lives in London.

I wonder what else he's lieing about. Why would he say he lives in the States? Try adding him to messanger frist and have a mic coversation that way if you dont want to give out your number but want to actually talk to him.

  13. thats really creepy dont reply to him !

  14. Sounds like a creep.  If you don't feel comfortable giving your number out then don't do it.

  15. lmao wat a little *****.
