Do you think this is still a relevant Halloween costume?

My friends and I are gonna dress as a religious cult for Halloween.

We are combining a few to get all of the really weird aspects of each of them.

One of the guys is gonna dress like Jim Jones from the 70's.

All of the girls are wearing long dresses & long wigs with the front puffed up (like the ones in the cult that got their kids taken away this summer.)

We're all gonna have big containers of purple gatorade like it's Jimmy Jones juice.

We're not gonna carry real Bibles (we aren't that sacreligious) but we will have books with crosses on them.

Do you think this is a good costume?

Yes, it's a good idea.

In my opinion, there's no such thing as an irrelevant Halloween costume if the costume is done well.

I think it will be.  I just hope you don't have to do a lot of explaining.
