do you think it will end just because it is the last year they can say this because it is the last year they will be able to coordinate the day, year, and month. Ex. 6,6,2006: 8,8,2008: and 7,7,2007

There is no such thing as end of the world at least in the religious context. When human have long perished, cockroaches would still be around. And for the Earth to really be gone, it would be another few billion years if scientists are right about the sun swallowing Earth and by the way is a natural phenomenon observable in other parts of the universe, not an act of god.

I doubt that  will be the end of the world. No one knows when it will happen. But I know signs have been pointing that way. Who really knows. Lets just wait and see what happens.

the year 2012 has another reason why they think it is the end of the world. things like the Mayan calendar, (being so accurate in dates ended its calendar on the year 2012), or planet x (the second sun)  they think that will bump into earth's crust in 2012 that will cause floodings, global warming also could be a reason for that (climate change) .

12/12/2012, or to be more correct, 12/21/2012, is the end of the Mayan Calendar, and the Mayan Calender was supposed to be the most precise calender ever made.

It is CERTAINLY not the endf the world (that would be foolish). Instead, if it IS actually real, it is probably a date of great change, or revolution.

I do not think that life will end on 12/12/2012 just because the day, month and year are the same.  However, the ancient Mayans, who created the most accurate calendar in the history of mankind (including our own), believed that the world would end on 12/21/2012.  On that day, their calendar simply stops; well, it technically rolls-over and starts anew.  Also on that day, 12/12/2012 at 11:11pm, the sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way for the first time in about 26,000 years. This means that "whatever energy typically streams to Earth from the center of the Milky Way will indeed be disrupted on 12/21/12 at 11:11 p.m. Universal Time,"
