Do you think this military dream is a parallel to my job?

I do not like my job but I can't leave it yet. I have promised myself two more years and I will be able to leave it.

Las t night I dreampt that I was back in the military although I had already done my time. The unit I was with were stationed outside of this college campus which happened to be alonga beach. We had dug in fighting positions all along the beach and were waiting for an amphibious invasion from the Chinese, which we had heard were on their way over. We had been told that we would be out manned 5 to 1 but if we hold the line and do not retreat we have an excellent chance of repelling the chinese invasion but we would likely suffer over 60% casualties. I remembr being in my hole with this guy I work with and we were terrified and at night we were even more terrified they were coming. On my off time I would hang out at the college and escape and make friends and read but I would always have to go back to the beach and wait for the invasion and pray they would not come tonite

I think you are having a psychic dream. At the end of this year world war 3 is supposed to be starting with China invading the US and there will be many people being recalled to the military. Hope this isn't so, but that's my opinion.

i would like to know where you live (basics  only) and what type of business you are in (basics only ) without that information it seems there will be a chinese (overseas)buyout of your company perhaps after your "two year term" is up (as you promised yourself) and 60% percent of the current employees will lose their jobs (livelihood) but the diligent who show no intimidation (feel secure of their skills and position and dont fear losing their jobs) will survive the take-over KEYWORDS( beach =overseas)( chinese =chinese)  ( after term is up= after your two years is up) in your off-time will you try to forget the possible loss of job but it will be on your mind while at work  those who dont fear and bravely hold their "positions" fighting for their (ground )will remain employed.Many will pretend not to afraid but there will be much murmurings of "what will we do if?"
