it is supposed to be JORDAN and it is male, can you imagine being a 50 yr old WOMAN with the name Jordyn, no i didnt think so.

EDIT: i have grown up with a masculine name (jesse) and the spelling which doesnt help and i can tell you now, its not very nice when someone you dont know thinks your a boy.

Yes! Its such a great name for either gender. I prefer it for a girl though. And don't worry about people mistaking her name for a boy. The spelling is very feminine. I'd like to add a nickname suggestion also: Jory. I think thats cute. Good luck! :o)
