Do you think this proves HBK is a classy guy?

Question

Here's a video from a match in 1997 at the King of the Ring PPV with him and Stonecold. A mentally disabled kid from the special olympics jumped the guardrail to the ringside area. Security swarmed him as they would anybody that jumps the guardrail. While the match is going on, HBK goes over and tells security to get off him.

..and this was back when he was known to have attitudes backstage...I've gained a whole new respect for HBK after seeing this.

Austin was playing a heel so he didn't get involved as much..but he was calling the referee over to tell him something about the situation before HBK just went over on his own.

I'm a huge HBK fan and I haven't seen this video before thanks for posting it. I already had a lot of respect for him but this makes me even respect him more.

That was nice of HBK to help out the kid. I really think most people would just do their job and let secruity do their job as well. Shawn actually put his job at risk to make the kid feel good. Austin followed up well to cover up the situation too.

I remember seeing that before a few months ago on a stream. I actually thought that was nice thingg by HBK and the kid was just excited to see this match it was just an accident.

Yea, since watching that video I have more respect for Shawn Michaels. He is a great man inside and outside the ring.

our daughter was a special olympic athelete for many years . all pro sports atheletes are happy to spend time with these outstanding people. the simple result if security had not let go of the athelete. they would have definatly recieved a very quick lessonj from michels and austin about what class means. dennis rodmans contract, inclued home and away tickets for special olympic athletespent pre game warm up with the athletes . cost lot of money. but he did it every season . another misjudged athlete. i was there . on and off court great actor. with the athletes he was himself. a very giving man . proven jefferson texas trdgedy.

I've always loved watching HBK.  And have much respect for him.  He repsects the fans.  Also he is very classy!  Not that it matters but it could also be do to his religious beliefs.

His backstage attitude problems are hard to forget, but this definitely at least shows that he still had some good inside of him. Classy moves from both Michaels and Austin, two men who have been criticized for ego problems in the past.

Yeah Shawn is awesome. Wow I had goosebumps...shawn vs stone cold....oh the good old days...but yeah shawn is a classy guy. thats one of the reasons why hes been my fave since forever.

Shawn might have had an attitude backstage but I never heard of him being an @ss to fans Shawn is just that kind of guy
