Do you think this situation could arise later this season or at least in the off-season?

Let's say Dale Earnhardt Jr. continues his consistency throughout the year, but doesn't win a race, or at most, only wins 1 race. Does the rumors of a crew chief change arise (I will always believe that family members on the same race team will never work to it's fullest potential.)? If yes, who will replace Tony Eury Jr. (Darian Grubb? Alan Gustafson?)?

Also, who else had a LOL moment when FOX promoted Fantasy Fishing (Not that this is a diss to any fisherman, but seriously, that was random.).

No Tony Eury isn't going anywhere. And he is doing better every race .

Crew chiefs for drivers running in 3rd place don't get replaced.  Thats silly.  Eury and Jr are doing just fine. Even if they don't get a win but thats doubtful.

I agree with that point but Marty had a ton of conflict with ownership as well.   I just don't think the two compare unless JR himself makes the notion that he wants a change but that decision should have been made when he made the move to HMS.

That Fantasy Fishing was funny!  Jr. and his crew chief?  I don't think Tony Eury Jr. is going anywhere.  They brought him to HMS with Jr. for a reason.  Jr. is 3rd in points,  so he's not doing bad at all.

The ONLY people talking about a crew chief change for JR are the nutty fans who think that JR should be winning every race (and yes I am a JR fan) and the media who are desperate for something to write about since they can't talk about how bad he is running.  Since he isn't winning every race in sight being in a Hendrick car there just has to be something wrong gimme a break the only way Eure is gone is if JR all of a sudden starts wrecking in every race and maybe not even then.

do you not remember the crew chief swap a couple years ago? the family member crews may not work fully but for junior not having his family at all doesn't work either
