  1. Isn't that  guys board?

Well I don't know why you're shopping in the 09 section if you're a beginner.

You should definately buy a 2008 board, it will be much cheaper and most of the time, the same quality board.

Just go to your local board shop and check 'em out.

  2. The Burton G Twin looks good. its pretty much made for everything i think. it comes in 153 too. i ride a burton jeremy jones board 151.. its a guys board nd im a chick, but it handles awsm as and its really comfortable..

ur board sounds good. be careful of price... go for something thats not to exxi as its ur first board. think about bindings and stuff as well cuz they can up the price.

  3. Generally, the length of the board should go to your chin.  Weight plays a factor as well.  If you decide to do a lot of tricks, you can go with a board that comes to the throat.

  4. That would probably be a great board, but you should be able to buy two boards for that price. How about this board - a Ride Control (it was my second board and I still ride it when the rocks are showing). Ride and K2 are made by the same company. I really loved this board as a freeride and sometimes in the park - look at the 151:

Both of these boards have 1" setback which isn't ideal for the park, but you can mount your bindings one hole forward which will give you less setback and make you more neutral in the park.

    Good Luck
