  1. It's a scared snake, is what it is!  (Wants to put you over her knee and whip with you a willow branch!)  Poor snake!

I have to agree with Madsnakeman on this one - it's just impossible to answer, with the lack of focus, etc.  Towards the end of the clip, there appeared to be a solid line down the snake's back, but I can't swear to that.  If so, it's most likely a yearling garter snake.

Now, stop terrorizing snakes in their native habitat!!!  Look - don't touch!

I hope this has been helpful.

  2. The video isnt too good but it appears to be a rat snake maybe a year or two old. Definitely no baby

  3. for a gardern snake ya thatz normal size i wouldn't say to young of a baby but ya defiantly on the verge of being a kid lol

  4. Most likely it is a baby or it's very young. For a sure-fire answer you would need to know what kind of snake it is.

  5. Dude put your mom back in the grass.

  6. No, that is an adult. Garter snakes are born very small, 4 to 9 inches depending upon species. Most species only grow 2 to 3 feet in length.

EDIT: Ahh, garter snake. No, that is an adult or subadult. Garter snakes are born very small, 4 to 9 inches depending upon species. Most species only grow 2 to 3 feet in length.

  7. I think it's a adult too.  I've seen garters that may have been bigger than that but the one in the video is probably an adult.  Definitely not a baby - like the other folks said, they are tiny.
