  1. I agree with Mr. mark

  2. Besides, Evander Holyfield, Tyson's most difficult fight was clearly James "Buster" Douglas. Douglas had an answer for everything Tyson attempted to do. I was almost close to mentioning Lennox Lewis, but then I remember that Tyson was mandated to take meds to calm his tail down, before setting foot in the ring against Lewis. Tyson was clearly not himself in that fight.

  3. Tyson hardest fight was Lennox Lewis.

  4. It's hard to judge what someone's hardest fight is, considering there could be so many factors. His first fight against Holyfield probably was the hardest physically, but against his pride, there are many other ones, including Holyfield 2, and multiple counts of getting beaten by lower-class fighters.

Mcneeley is clearly game, and ready to fight with Tyson, but is completely outclassed, as at this point, Tyson is still moving his head, and getting away from a large amount of the blows which he had trouble taking later in his career.

So no, I do not think this was Tyson's hardest fight, I think there are a couple ones out there, but this one is pretty tough. :)

  5. buster as that was the day he slipped in boxing.he was knocked out in sparring in the weeks before the fight. Had problems but s**t happens.

There is people with problems 10 times worse than that...

He never had a real trainer at the time and all the yes men but he new he was not on form as its down to him but went tho with the fight but maybe he was like i  can end this one in a round or two sure i can wing it once..He hit buster with hisSunday punch well if you don't get hit with that punch you got a good chance of going 12Rd's like i say Tyson lands his Sunday best and something happened that we had not seen before buster gets up but that's not it he is not hurt yes he went down as the legs went but he was still good that woke him up i said.. Now Tyson must be thinking Man this it not what i thought it would be!!!

Even worse he lands his best and not like the others  he beat he was still there and ready to go even the fresher legs.I still say that's where i think Tyson changed in boxing and the fear he put in there eyes before all his fights was now in his own eyes and all though this Sunday  punch he was never the same fighter.

As to when lewis got knocked out he never took a beating like Tyson did that night as i was a big fan and to see my hero at that time full lumps and looking old was crazy. So when lewis got beat they was just lucky  punches both times Tyson took a real beating and it was a bad one he look  ill look eye was smashed i can say Tyson for me was done there he had found fear that night. He was done from then on ..

  6. He had some difficulty versus TNT but then won the fight and he certainly was taken to the deep waters by Razor, even though he won both fights, those were also very difficult fights. But then Tyson's troubles began before the Razor fights, yes against Buster. Tyson had personal problems, he had no trainer and Don King was just an **** by using the man a personal gymmic for money. Buster had heart and for that one fight alone, he wanted to win the fight more than anything in the world. Buster corrected the spelling of fear to Tyson and showed him that its not spelled Phear and is meaningless. When Buster got up, Tyson knew his demise was only about to begin, here was a man he had beaten up to that point and he just couldn't put him away. I think Tyson thought that Buster was demonic, Tyson could have got up from the KO, indeed why bother with the gum instead of just getting up? Tyson didn't have it in him to get up and he chose to stay down. Were as against Lewis, there was no way he'd get up and against the Holy, the ref had to step in so that he wouldn't take further punishment. In both fights, lesser fighters would have given up a long time before their respective endings, Tyson was beaten to a pulp by better boxer who nullified his strengths on the night. So those were not difficult, he was beaten but the Buster fight was mentaly daunting as it was physically punishing and Tyson had other problems hence the difficulty to cope with the fight.

  7. holyfield and before that bout go with James Buster Douglas took it to him while mike was in his prime

mike has never done well against fighters that don't fear him or back down

  8. I got a sense of humor as I take it you're attempting to be funny here.  A lot of folks say that Lewis was Tyson's toughest fight other than Holyfield, but I have to disagree.  When he fought Lewis, he was already mentally gone as far as boxing goes.  When he lost his title to James "Buster" Douglas was his hardest fight.
