Hi, my name’s Cody, and I’m with working with the Windows Vista Outreach Team to help answer questions that folks might have about their copies of Windows Vista.

The webcam you listed above should be completely compatible with your copy of Windows Vista.  Microsoft has set up a compatibility center at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compati...  Doing a quick search there on that model of webcam shows that it should be completely compatible with Vista.

In the future, make sure you check out the compatibility center whenever you have questions about Vista’s compatibility with hardware and software!  That site will either answer your question or give you links that will help you get your hardware/software up and running smoothly.

    Thanks,

    Cody

  2. Yes I am absolutely certain it would work with vista.. I have vista and an old labtec webcam that works I also have a logitech Fussion webcam and it works too. the microsoft cams are as recent or even newer thans these ones and since it is microsoft, I am certain it would work with vista. I also suggest a free program called dwyco for video/voice/text chatting. you can get it at www.dwyco.com. there are pay programs you can get but this has many of the same features so you can try this first before you buy a chat program.

    Hope this helps you!

  3. most likely u could because webcams use basic software and vista was upgraded from old os' and so on... but u deff try it.... 98 percent garunteed!!!
