Question:

Do you think this would be hidden under my dress?

I'm sorry to have to keep asking about this. I thought I had something that worked but it turned out too high in the back. I need something underneath and I don't want to wear the stickons.

I'm wondering if you think this would work.

Here is the dress

What do you think?

  1. It may be cutting it close.  The front may not be low enough for that.

Take the photo of the dress to several lingerie stores and see what they have and suggest to be sure before you make an online purchase.

  2. that dress is totally hot!  bring the boustier to whoever is doing your dress alterations and have them sew it in permanently.  OR just have them sew cups into the front of the dress.  I have several dresses with cups sewn in, then you don't have to buy a fancy bra you'll only wear once.

  3. Love the dress. I think this might work but if not, could you have a piece of the satin ribbon added all the way around the neckline of the dress?it would give you a little extra coverage without spoiling anything. A really good needlewoman might even be able to take half an inch or so off from around the bustier and your wedding dress supplier should be able to get you in touch with a skilled needlewoman.

  4. I answered your question the last time you posted it.

Is that you in the picture?????

If so, you don't need a bra at all.

Also the bra in the pic WILL NOT work.  It's too high around the round edges in the back and will show.

The stickons or nothing, I say.  You really do not want  your bra showing at your wedding.

  5. Hello again! Its a shame your last one didnt work. Thing is, I think the back of this one would be too high as well, it doesnt look like it quite goes down to the level of your dress!  :( Could you get someone like a seamstress, or someone from the bridal shop to sew some cups in? If you don't want to wear the stick on ones, that might be your only option!!

I shall have a look for some for you :)

How about this one? I know it is a full body thing, but it looks like it might work! http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?...

Or this one. I understand that you dont want to wear the stick on cups, but would the side be ok? (Look at detail 2) http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?...

Here is an alternative to that one, it has straps for extra support!! http://www.lasenza.co.uk/bras/bra-soluti...

Or little sticky bits on the bottom? http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?...

This one looks pretty cool, there is a video on the first site and the product on the second :) http://lolasmalls.blogspot.com/2008/04/y...

Amazon seems pretty good, this one looks like it might work. Shame the picture isnt great, but I think they do returns if its not right!

Again, another rubbishy pic from Amazon but it might be alright. Maybe a bit too high at the front though

Oooh, here's something that might be brilliant!!! :D

http://www.lasenza.co.uk/bras/bra-soluti... This is a low front bra, perfect for your dress, then you could buy something like this - http://www.strappybras.com/product.asp?s... which will convert the back of any (with a standard clasp) to a low backed bra!! :) Have both of them together, and it should be fine!! May cost you a bit more, but its your wedding day afterall and itll be worth it after all this searching!

This is an ugly one, but you dont need to worry about straps or anything. I dont think they are actually stick on ones, because they are adjustable when on! Still ugly though!! Take them off before the hubby sees!! Ha ha! http://www.strappybras.com/product.asp?s...

Well, have found you lots, I just hope you find the right one for you!! Good luck with it!

  6. I love your dress, it's so gorgeous.

The undergarment might work but I know for a fact that particular undergarment will be extremely uncomfortable.

It's exactly like the one I used under my Wedding gown and by the end of the day my whole top half was in pain.

The wires will dig into your skin when you're kneeling, sitting down and dancing. I had marks until two days later.

Remember, you want to be comfortable.

  7. I don't think it will work.  Does the store where you bought the

dress have any that will work?  Or, try your dress on again, and

make a little pen mark or a piece of medical tape or a band-aid

where the bra needs to go below, then go to Victoria's Secret or

other lingerie stores and find something.  Or oder a bunch of

different ones, try them on with the dress, then return them if

    they don't work.  Duh.

  8. I don't think that it will work. The front of your dress, (which is very beautiful by the way!) looks too low cut for the undergarment. Are you not able to try it on to see? Other than the stickons that you don't want to wear I'm not sure what advice to offer! Best of luck!

  9. From the pictures it looks like it would work, but really you can never know until you try it on with the dress.

  10. I don't think it would work - I think the undergarment is too big/tall for a dress like that. Have you thought about buying a different kind of undergarment?

  11. Firstly what a beautiful dress that is, and yes I think it would go well underneath the dress, hope you wanted a mans opinion.
