Do you think this would happen in Glasgow?

A friend was driving in a side street in which some kids were playing "chicken", dodging in front of cars, including hers, and jumping away at the last moment. My friend's destination happened to be a few yards farther on so she stopped and got out of the car preceded by her pet dog, Richard. One of the kids approached her and said: "I'm sorry, missus, we wouldn't have jumped in front of you if we had known you were blind."

  2. No, they would have deep fried the dog in batter.

  3. Thanks for the Laugh Suzy!!!

  4. It could happen anywhere I found it funny cheered me up.

  5. My mother used to say, if you cant say anything nice say nothing.

Suzie I like your Avatar so does my gran, you give her lots of laughs, I thought it was funny.

  6. No, they'd just attack her for daring to get out her car to "confront" them!

  7. Yes because it makes sense for a glaswegian to believe that a blind person could drive

No because it defies all glasgow logic to apologize.  More realistically, they would have walked up to her car and stabbed her...

  8. Saved by a dog d**k

  9. Lol. Richard!....by the way...your avatar reminds me of a cheap greetings card in a forgotten and dusty corner shop....in Dundee. NO offence...it does!

  10. Why not? This simply demonstrates the true concern, that most Scots have from childhood, for those who, for one reason or another, are less fortunate than themselves.

The thought processes might be silly but the concern was well meant.
