In the past, you buy land and plant crops. That counts as exercise, is a way to get a house, and a way to place food on your table.

Today, you must EARN money buy getting a JOB, and if your job is something intellectual, you must exercise on your OWN time. And now cars and factories pollute Earth to the point of Global Warming.

What do you think?

  1. I think that the smarter we become intellectually the less wise we become.  We get so wrapped up in the new technological advancements that we loose morality and basic common sense.

  2. FINALLY!

I can't believe somebody agrees with me! Where were you a year and a half ago when I asked the same quesion?

YES! The answer is YES! We are WAY too advaced for our own good.

and also, alot of new viruses have sprung up because of how fast we advance. We killed certain viruses to extinction, but they evolved until they got strong enough to withstand our current medical acheivements. add in global warming and we're in a whole heaping lot of trouble.

    Thnx 4 u r time.

  3. no. were not that advanced. theres still world hunger

and pollution going on. we still dont have a lot that

could stop pollution. like, hybrids are a lot of money

and theres still a lot of people suffering from world

hunger and they have no technology so theyre not

advanced. maybe if everywhere in the world was

as advanced as the US then maybe in a way.

  4. i dont necessarily think it is TOO advanced but just less educated. alot of things in our world today are technilogical and we tend to become use to these "robotic" luxuries. Theres nothing wrong with the advancement of technology i just think we have to learn how to balance our productivity equally btw the technical things and man powered things

  5. I actually thought about that for a while.

I came to a conclusion that everything on this earth happens for a reason, and all we can do is let life take its course. Including all this technology - if it exists, it's probably meant to exist.

Although it doesn't mean we can't come together try to stop (or at least slow down) global warming.

This is why I sometimes think the human race would be better off gone, we're destroying the earth.

    :/

  6. No, just to dependent on those advancements . . .
