  1. Nobody will be running into that in a hurry

  2. I hope they start talking immediately.

  3. By proxy, with NATO and US, in the thick of it already..

  4. of course.  why dont we let the rest of the world go to pot and not care.  sounds like a winner of an idea to me(sic).  is this the liberal compassion ive heard so much about?

  5. I don't know how the UK feels but I think the US should definitely stay the h**l out of it, we can't afford any more wars here it has slaughtered out economy!

  6. O k

  7. " When was the last time its governments bothered with this country ??? its soul has been sold out from beneath its peoples feet a long time ago "

  8. LOL - YES

we dont need to mess with a few million Russians armed to the teeth with bigger nukes than ours.

  9. Yes!There is only a number of wars a country can be involved in!But!With an idiot at the helm of British politics called Gordon Brown!Well!Anything is possible!

  10. It would be better for the whole world that America and Europe (NATO) stay out of this bloody war.

This war was expected, if you believe or not.  Everything is going about the black Gold in the world, OIL.  As you remember, for about 10 to 20 years ago Russia was also in a bloody war with Afganistan, which they had to stop, because of enormous losts.

The danger of this war now is possible the escalation over the whole world.

I remember at the fall of the Soviet Union, the president at that time said that Russia would take back all lost areas, under the pression of the united states.

About 20 years ago I talked to a person who just came back from a meeting.  His face looked like he had seen something terrible.  After asking him what was wrong I knew that the future of the world was going to catastrofic time.  He said and I try specific his words: "We are getting war with Russia".  At that time the Soviet-Union was still there.  I think many times about his words.

And if I look around me, the financial crisis, the housemarket that is collapsing, banks getting bankrupt, worldwide mass firing of people because of no work, and last but not least countries who starting new wars.

Yes, In the past when Countries had problems, economicly and financialy they started wars.

I pray, Nato, UK, US, Australia and Canada, will not get involved in this mass or it could be the terrible start of the 3th WorldWar.

Russia will not accept any forreigner country will put his nose in their business, they already lost to much.

  11. Yes, but doesn't Georgia have oil, that means everybody will poke their noses in.

  12. This is a tricky one.

On the one hand Britain should go in and help Georgia...on the other hand Russia controls the supply of gas to Britain.

  13. Most definitely.

  14. We should stay out of it, and if we must get involved, it must be on the side of Russia. They are the ones in the right (for once) and they are the ones who will win.

But if we stay out of it, we need to become extra friendly with Russia, or build a few million wind farms, because if Russia takes Georgia (which it is likely to do) then the Russians will control a lot of the fuel coming into Europe.

  15. No - All of Europe would be a net loser here!

Russia is trying to annex and block Georgia from having another oil pipeline to Europe (and the UK) - ie Russia wants to control Europe's energy. This is very bad news for Europe and democracies world-wide

BTW - The cowardly socialist European leaders who wouldn't admit Georgia into NATO a few months back - despite the Georgian president's pleas then that this would happen - should be beyond ashamed of themselves!

    Peace

  16. Georgia have asked for the UNs help in peacekeeping and brokering a ceasefire, it would be wrong not to help them, now in that i think we should provide peackeeping not a full army contingent we are not their to help fight their war unlike our troops fighting the americans war in iraq for example

  17. Yes , its much better for them to stay out of it~ Or Russia would target them next.

  18. Yes. We are engaged in two illegal occupations of other states as it is. Once again the politicians will sit in safety whilst British service personnel bleed and die on their behalf !

  19. There are commitments to allies, and the world is too small today to not try and keep world peace. If the actions are not stopped, it could get out of hand and create a bigger problem for the UK and other nations.Unfortunate, but it is not wise to bury your head in the sand and wish it away.

  20. To simplistic to stay out.

It is on the borderline between Russia and Europe  - Russia is hating it that Democracy is on the creep.

When Russia is attacking Georgia, indirectly they are attacking all democratic nations, including us. They are cocking a snook at us.

It`s just more than sad that once again, innocent people, just trying to get on with their lives, are in the firing line.

  21. I think it is time for UK to have their own opinion,  without prompter from USA

  22. yes

  23. Yes.

  24. ok you obviously short sighted Georgia has the man pip-line supplying gas and oils to Europe if the Russians get hold of that then they basically have complete control over Europe's energy and can force Europe to do what ever they want its an attempt by Russia to start the rebuilding of the USSR and try and force a major power shift in the worlds super powers in other words its the starts of an attempt to take control of the planet so put it another way do you want to be a Russians or do you want to be British i would rather stay British my self i don't fancy being ruled bu a country that kills its own people

  25. Yes, but much more importantly, the US should also keep well out of a tangled border and nationality dispute.
