  2. Yes, but you have to get a grip on yourself and get over it; no use in having a fatal attraction to someone who isn't interested in you.

    It hurts.  A lot.  The pleasure of the feelings of love is often eclipsed by the pain of not being loved in return.  

    I think if it's at all possible a person suffering from unrequited love should find an alternative object of affection, which can often break the spell.  

    Or, as Mae West supposedly said, "The best way to get over a man is to get under a man."
