Metals are at a boom right now but, gas prices are turning Americans inside out literally to search for must needed extra money to pay for gas. Bur, what if instead of leaving cars to rot in abandoned car lots. We recycle the car and trucks to make new more durable and reliable vehicles.

  1. Well, the factories have been doing this for years.  And let alone the price of brand new steel, and recycled steel costs the same, so your really not seeing any price savings from it either way.  Good luck.

  2. Cars have made from recycled steel, alum, plastics and rubber for 20 years. You just dont see it because the recycled pieces come from the same manufacturing plants.

  3. That is a great idea and usually people do recycle the scrap metal from cars and others should also do the same, I think it's a great idea.

  4. everyone already does this, the car companies use recycled metal in the cars alreay, and anyone who isnt dumb takes there old junk cars to a scrap yard where they will give you a few bucks for the value of the metal then they scrap it and sell it to a recycling plant. basically thats what people have been doing for years now.
