  1. Well, Australia have failed to beat us on the last two visits at the Millennium!

I think we have a chance as long as we are on form and stay focused for the full 80 minutes!

  2. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... way!

  3. No ! Even with injuries the Aussies are to tough !

  4. no no no

  5. Wales couldn't beat an egg.  Come on Australia.

  6. They came within 30 seconds of beating them a few weeks ago so it's not impossible, especially with the fervent Welsh support behind them. There's no denying Australia's quality but I'd rather be facing them than New Zealand or South Africa.

  7. Given their respective opening performances I would say wales have no show of beating Australia.  That said rugby is a funny game and performances can fluctuate significantly given the mental approach to games.  Just look at the difference between Argentina in their games v France and v Portugal.  Therefore I think there is a chance for wales but they will have to play very well and possibly catch the Wallabies below their best.  I would say Australia 75% favourites and Wales 25%.

  8. h**l yeah as long as we remember that a rugby match lasts for 80 mins not 75

  9. IF wales are on top form and IF australia struggle and IF wales hit all their kicks (dont think mortlock is the better kick than either Jones or Hook) and they keep their head while the Australians get agitated then......YES, I believe that Wales can pull off an upset, like Ireland at the moment they need a big game to get them off the mark and Australia could be the build up they need to get their *** in gear

  10. i hope Wales kick some Aussie a s s.

  11. they defo can australia are not the top team in this competition New Zealand, South Africa and wales can be solid with wingrs like Shane Williams so i dont see why not.

  12. I believe they can!!! But will they!!!

  13. You never know with Wales. In the last world cup, they had a terrible build up and didn't look impressive in the opening games but came close to beating England, the eventual champions and the All Blacks.

If they can play on top form for 80 minutes, then they will win but they haven't played on top form for 80 minutes since the 70s. Even when they won the Grand Slam, that was from having a blinding 20 minutes each game.

Last year, I would have had Wales as favourites but on current form, Australia shouldn't have any trouble.

  14. if the welsh turn up to play and not to sing then yeah they will win.this will be a humbling experience for australia and help us realise we are hopeless and should just go home

  15. I hope not, but I am expecting a very tough match.

Wales nearly beat us last time.

  16. No, I very much doubt  if  ANY of the Northern Hemesphere teams will get  remotely close to Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. The quality of the Rugby between the two Hemeshere`s is  worlds apart. Both Australian and South Africa`s games have made huge steps forward ,since the start of  Super 12 & 14 Comps.  The only leveler is the refereeing ,with Northern Refs. prefering the Whistle Blowing ,stop start games that are common in the North. The Southern teams play the fast ,skilful type game.

  17. Australia seem to always "step up" when it counts.  How many times have we seen it - in more sports than one!  I know its only Japan but they looked prepared.  HOWEVER.....

Wales in Cardiff will be their advantage and the Australians won't be oozing with confidence given their last two battles in Cardiff against Wales (one a draw and the other a loss).

I'm going to say Wales will win by 3.

  18. well they do say miracles happen.... u can hope but i fear the reality may be somewhat disappointing for ya

  19. World Cup 2011, may be?
