  3. Water aerobics are actually better for weight loss than

    land aerobics for several reasons. The first is that you are doing exactly the same exercises in the water that you are doing on the land only you are working at them twice as hard because you have to deal with the resistance of the water which you don't have to do on land. Secondly you are less likely to injury yourself in the water as the buoyancy of the water means the impact is less on your joints. It is

    basically a lot more fun than land exercises as you don't feel as sweaty and as hot as you do on the land. Having said that you still have to pay attention to not getting overly tired. Just

    because you don't notice that you are sweating  doesn't mean you aren't Lastly it is an exercise that can be done by anyone, young, old, heavy, thin, anyone with joint problems or other issues can still do it. I was very overweight and I went to areobics in the pool every day for two  months (one hour classes) I lost 25 lbs in that time and I did not decrease my

    food intake at all. It is the only way to exercise besides lots
