Do you think we'll see widespread interest and panic in these doomsday theories as the year 2012 approaches?

I do not believe in any of the 2012 theories. But I am wondering how our culture will respond to these beliefs as 2012 approaches.

Will there be widespread panic and/or interest in all this stuff?

There was a man who studied the bible for many years way back when who said he didnt see the world ending before 2021 or 2012, i dont remember which

i dont think so, aside from that the bible says the end will come when no-one is expecting it

also why do we care when the end is? this is just another one of those factors thats trying to distract you from the things that are truely important

I don't know about panic, but I for one am waiting with bated breath for 'all this' to end and something new replace it...let's face it, the vast majority of people on this planet are F%#*'d one way or another...it can't get much worst...BRING IT ON!!!

I don't know about panic, but people seemed rather anxious about the year 2000.  I think it'll be rather like that again.

I doubt it, people have predicted a new theory like clockwork once ever 4-10 years since religion was invented, probably before.
