  1. Some people are diamonds while others are just stone.

  2. Ah, Buddhism in a way.  We are all awaiting something or someone to bring forth our full potential.  That is when we 'shine'.  The shine will not last forever because certain unknown circumstances may intervene.

  3. We have to polish our own lives, then only you will get some help.

  4. Yes! We are all diamonds, but we're not waiting for someone to make us shine, we're waiting to realize we're already shining! It's just that the light is focused on only a few individuals... One day those individuals will realize they only shine because of other peoples light. They will become wise and give it back! It will happen! One day we'll all realize!

  5. Interesting question!

I recently read a book where the author described our lives as having that rough, dirty, yet flawless diamond on the inside of us.  It was his way of showing all human equality.  And so.... I have comments...

Yes, I definitely believe we have that diamond on the inside like you speak of.

However, I do not believe we as human beings, somewhat in control of our lives, can WAIT for someone to come and polish our diamond.  This is the work that we must do, if we want to sparkle, shine, and show off our beautiful flawless diamond that is on the inside.  That was the point and argument of the book, as the author expressed that the polishing and cleaning of our own diamond, is our own work. The more you work, the more you shine, which also means you work on knowing yourself which has a priceless value in itself.

Honestly, I think there are people who believe your question and statement, in the fact that they are sitting around waiting for someone to come and buff, polish, and shine their diamond.  And this is just wrong,  in a sense this is another way of saying... I am waiting for someone to come and save me, because I cannot save myself.  At the end of the day, you, me, all of us are in our own bodies and heads, and we must put ourselves and our value first.  What is more important that knowing and understanding who you are? This is why you must do your own polishing, and not wait for someone else to do it, because in most cases, people have their own work and polishing to do on their own lives.  This does not mean you, me, or any of us cannot help someone with their polishing... but it is important that people know they need to work on themselves for more than that reason of just shining. The more you know about yourself, the more you understand those around you and the world in general.

    Thanks for reading!

  6. No.

    Many people are just rocks.

Not all nymphs are meant to become Old Ones.

  7. yes.

    but I hate waiting...!!

  8. I think there are a lot of people who feel that way. Nobody wants to take responsibility for their own life. Nobody wants to make the effort to find his own way in life.  We're all waiting for someone or something to show us the way.

  9. It's not someone or something. The power to polish our lives is within ourselves. Some people tap into it, and some people don't.

  10. Thank you for asking!  I am well on my way!  God is doing the job just fine!

  11. No,

According to Islam we all are not rough diamond, but some are High quality diamonds, some are low quality, some are metals and some are just stones down to some are deadly stones etc etc. Everbody has its own judgement ctiteria given by Allah. Prophets are the one who come to polish every good thing and remove the bad effects of deadly ones. After Them comes the Good Followers

  12. Start polishing, dear - until you shine.  Nobody else is going to do it for you. You are the master of your own destiny. (and your own sparkle.)

    Peace.

    Twinkle, twinkle little star......

  13. Oh, that's a beautiful thought..  A person most certainly can change their outlook on life and themselves when something positive happens and of course love makes us shine with the brightest glow.
