Do you think we're cuddle buddies or is he testing out the waters?

He's a SHY GUY who's hinted at things that SEEM that he's interested. We've been hanging out alot recently. He'll invite me to things that him and his best friends are up to, act different when they're around, tease me, and just be "outgoing" when it's just me and him. There are certain times he'll ask for a movie night - just me and him (not everytime we hang out though). It's been 2 months of us hanging out and when we have movie night, it's ROUTINE...everytime this happens:

1. we'll be on separate sides and he'll try and get close by gently kicking/throwing a pillow at me.

2. throw in tickling or "are you sleeping?" or "hey you have my pillow..."

3. take up the whole space so I wouldn't have anywhere to go

4. hint for a massage and make it seem like it was my idea. (Full back massage)

5. w. massages, he'll lie on his belly and just close his eyes smiling and tell me it feels good.

6. i'll switch it and ask for one but he'll just be comfy/closed eyes and say, "no" or "maybe". He'll eventually give me one and ALWAYS goes under my shirt and massages my lower back.

7. When i have to go, he'll say, "lame" and just lie there, all comfy. All say, "cmon let's go". and he'll still be in bed/eyes closed saying softly, "nope". And when i get up, he'll GRAB my waist and hold me.

8. Once he does that, we'll hold each other lying down face to face. I'll grab his face and just caress it, his eyes close or ill run my fingers through his hair or nuzzle my nose on his cheek. His eyes are just closed while holding me.

9. When I do leave, he'll get all serious like that stuff didn't just happen.

He's shy and it may take some time for him to do any more than that. He's happy, you're happy, and that's all that matters right now. I wouldn't say that you should go and date other people, because I think that would really upset him. But go with the flow, don't rush, don't push it. He'll respect you a lot more if you go with his pace. Good luck and you two sound so great together!
