Traditionally, traditions are made traditions by using them as traditions in a traditional way. When you use traditions in a non-traditional way long enough for them to be non-traditional, they cease to be traditions and become non-traditions. I think that's a great non-traditional tradition that we should use as a tradition until it becomes traditional enough to be a tradition. Then it will be a tradition.
