Do you think we are being observed like a giant ant farm?

from whatever higher power or intelligence is out there? is it possible they are so beyond us they are noy interested./?

The focus of the Galaxy and beyond is on Earth right now.

The Bible states that the Earth is the center of the universe as does the Zohar and I'm sure other philosophical teachings written and oral.

Let me put it this way, we are under the glass BUT STILL HAVE FREE WILL up to and including partial annihilation.

Complete annihilation is the domain of the Godhead.

Well, other intelligent life in the universe is evidently so far away, that they cannot make contact.  

We have never even received what we conclusively believe to be radio signals from other worlds.   And these travel at the speed of light.  You would think that we would at least pick up some alien music.

But distances just too great.  I do believe though that one day we will pick up some kind of alien radio waves, etc.   But the signals will most likely be millions of years old.

It is possible as the known universe is infinite as far as our present knowledge goes. Then there are mathematical equations that require our universe being part of a multiverse where there can be any number of universes. Interesting that the early Egyptian Gods were called the "watchers" - who were they working for?

We are definitely being observed - but it's the government who is doing it.

On a happier note, most ancient civilizations that recorded alien contact - usually talked of "helpers" - that helped the people evolve and gave them pieces of technology to assist - just enough, almost like a gardener watering his plants.

Are we the results of their experiments ?

If we manage to get off our rock, and boldly go (ha!) would we destroy other worlds - or try to encourage them?

I think any species that has learnt that waring amongst itself is not the way to colonise new planets is more advanced than we are. We're still in the dark ages with that one. There is some hope - Scientists from around the globe are coming together in new projects that cross boarders for the benefit of mankind - so lets give them the encouragement they deserve. We are Humans - it's time to grow up.

The Sumerians called them the Ananaki or watcher gods. The book "chariots of the gods" by Zacharia Sitchin presents an intriguing view of this subject. While I have my own interpretations of his so called "evidence", it doesn't seem unreasonable to think that someone, some where, is watching us!

i've always thought that there was something more intelligent then us and we are being observed by whateva it is, but like i don't beleive in like "aliens" (the green skin, large eyes, and long fingers.) seems too unreal fer ma!

I  don't think we are watched. If there is any life outhere, they may not know about us. If they did I don't think they would manage not to poke into us, mess with us.

I used to think that but I don't any more. Unless they are using a means of watching us that is beyond our imagination. Because if you think about how small we are compared to the entirety of the Universe how in the world could they see us. We have telescopes and stuff and we can see that there aren't enormous beings (proportion from ants to humans) anywhere near. (within 200,000,000 light years)

If you think of the total number of ants in the world, and how large that is compared to the total number that are being watched by humans, then you'll see it doesn't really matter. Yes, it's possible, but even if it is the chances of you being one of the watched ones are very, very small.
