  1. Looks like a logical possibility, but I hope common sense prevails.  Most Americans couldn't locate Georgia on a map, and they darn sure don't want to die defending it.

Conservative commentator, Monica Crowley said "Here comes 'The guns of August.'" on the McLaughlin PBS show Friday.  That's a reference to the how WWI started.  One nation after another got pulled into the conflict because of diplomatic alliances.-- the same way this could play out.

  2. Not likely.. however it does indicate that we need to have our own uninteruptable supplies of oil. Just one more reason to Drill Here and Drill Now.....

  3. NOPE.  Right about now all of Eastern Europe is scratching their head asking what the F was Georgia's president thinking invading an autonomous zone that won its freedom from Georgian rule in 1991.

Also, most of Russia's partners are wondering why they elected these pro-NATO bafoons who obviously hold no sway with the USA, UK and other Western Countries.  And, also saying, d**n this missle shield is probably a bad idea...

Soon enough Russia will find it has done sufficient damage and Georgia will agree to Russia's terms.

  4. i hope theres no need for that, if UM and US moves troops to defend Georgia it will cause either WW# or Russia will go backwards and leave the Georgia alone..

mostly Georgian Government asks for support and Pressure from the west on Russia, no1 wants WW3 or blood shed,

  5. Whole world saw which country has uncontrollable president.

  6. I hate Geosgia! I hate USA! I hate f*cking BUSH, CondaRise & Sakashivili! I hate they all!!!

    2BUSH & SAKASHVILI - KILL THEM SELF.

UBEJTE SEBJA OB STENU, SUKASHVILI, PIDOR_BUSH i TUPORIRALA KONDI RAJS.

  7. I don't think america will get involved in this conflict on russia's doorstep. British forces are at full-stretch with iraq and afganistan.

  8. The Americans will not jump in a new war; they have enough with Irak and Afghanistan.

  9. If NATO send troops to support Georgia, forced by the united states, than i guarantee, we have our WW III.

And I swear in the name of GOD, it will be the biggest war ever, and the most bloodiest ever.

Nostradamus has made a prophety about this war caming.  I only hope that he is wrong.  And that they never use the nukes.

  10. Very unlikley, US/UK are a bit busy, the EU never do anything.

  11. Very unlikely, as first Georgia was calling to US "to support freedom -loving countries", and now asks the US to get involved as a mediator in Georgian-Russian conflict.

This means that the US has said NO. Georgian president was promised NATO membership, full support, but seems he went too far and acted too harshly - America turned its back on him.

A major political ****-up by an uncontrollable idiot.

  12. It might do, but if it happens there's no way Abramovitch is keeping hold of Chelsea!

  13. I doubt it very much.

  14. Possible but unlikely.

    No one wants war.

But yes, big wars have started for lesser reasons...it sometimes only takes a spark to ignite a firework factory!

  15. Not WW II but Russia will have to be confronted. It will invade Georgia and take control of the oil supplies which is what it is all about in the first place. The contemptible and cowardly European politician's who stopped Georgia's inclusion into Nato must be extremely proud of themselves. Why are all the cowards concentrated in Western Europe?

  16. It's a definite possibility, greater Russia has a role as well, they are supporting the separatist.

  17. It's possible - if others get involved too (but unlikely)

Russia is trying to annex and block Georgia (a strong US ally) from having another oil pipeline to Europe - ie Russia wants to control Europe's energy and doesn't mind killing innocent Georgian civilians in the process. This is very bad news for Europe and democracies world-wide

BTW - The cowardly socialist European leaders who wouldn't admit Georgia into NATO a few months back - despite the Georgian president's pleas then that this would happen - should be beyond ashamed of themselves!

    Peace

  18. My views are that it is entirely possible.

The russians will welcome any American troops near their borders about as much as the Americans welcomed russias involvement in Cuba.

  19. THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN IRAQ WAS....

USA AND OTHER CIVILIZED COUNTRIES SHOULD INTERVENE TO STOP RUSSIA...

IT MAY BE EVEN ALREADY LATE... BUT RUSSIA SHOULD BE STOPED THE CONSIDER THEMSELF EUROPEAN EMPIRE AND ARE IN THE XIX CENTURY YET...

    PETROL STATE..................

  20. possible hope not because we would all die mas produce of nuclear bombs splat all human population dead

    sorry

    ww3 coming

  21. Can't see it happening there is to much at risk and all countries no that!

  22. Probably not.

  23. Realy world wars does not teach the mankind..Why all these human lifes?  Satisfy the prides an oligarch and politician and others..
