I just feel like sometimes, I really go somewhere when I go to sleep. It feels too real sometimes and the connections with other people seem real. Some dreams are like that. Do you think its possible that our conciousness is our soul. And we travel to other realms when we sleep?

  1. I want to say Yes, but as I have gotten older, I have noticed an increase in these types of dreams when the moon is full.

Some dreams are about your fears.  Others are replays of situations that you want to change.

Get a dream interpretation book to learn more about them.  It's fun and more fun if you include a friend to help you.

  2. i don't think there is any 'traveling' to other realms, rather, our mind is continually existing in every possible dimension.  when we fall asleep we get to escape this 'constant'-most powerful dimension that we live in and explore the most extreme situations.

im a firm believer that there is an alternate dimension created every time a someone/something chooses one path over another. which leaves infinite possibilities.

  3. I think so too. Scientists have that we just turn off our bodies, but I dont agree. I think we leave our bodies and go into a dream land of some sort that our own imaginations make up. But thats just my opinion.

  4. I'm not quite sure, actually. It's all in the immense depth of the human mind. For example, I saw Jurassic Park at a young age yet I had nightmares about it years later. I'm not sure how this question covers when people don't have dreams at night.

  5. No,,although fascinating to consider,,our consciousness is our reality,,and slept is our body in a state of rest and recharging.. In sleep our sub-consciousness is a blank canvas which all of our thoughts and musing in our waken hours are cast in space and randomly exposed to the blank canvas.. These thoughts can be conjured up in a manner which is sometimes  very pleasant and enjoyable.. Then too,,at times the selections of our thoughts can create a disturbing and frightful experience.. Dreams ,,are only an assembly of our thoughts.. Although sometimes bizarre,,they are just thoughts.. We don't leave our bodies or our beds,,just consciousness. We dream throughout the sleeping experience all through the night,,the dreams we have just before we awake are the ones we remember vividly.. Pleasant Dreams !!!!      SOLOMON

  6. For sure. I will tell you a story:

My cousin once had a dream he was in Lincoln park and met a guy and they started talking and introduced themselves. A few days later he saw in the newspaper that that man he met in his dreamed died in a car crash. He went to a hospital to a psychic department or something and another guy had the same dream. They had never met each other before. And they each went into seperate rooms for tests and they both dreamed about each other and introducing each other in Lincoln Park. Its very creepy

  7. I am a firm believer of all the above. However, I will tell you that I am positive that when you are dozing off, and you suddenly jerk like you are falling, this is the exact instance when you are returning to your body from an out-of-body journey. It is weird, but exciting to know that you had just had an out of body experience.

  8. chaYAH! i looove dreaming so prably!

  9. i've thought that too :) it's a strange concept. I guess in a way we do, not physically but subconsciously, we are for a little while in a completely different world. maybe its our souls way of speaking to us.

  10. There is a theory that says we can have out of body experiences. I think I had one when I was in my twenties. I was taking a nap and had this vivd drem of me playing Soccer in the world Cup. When I woke, my whole body jumped and I was wet with sweat. My sister who was into paranormal events said That I did have an out of body experience.

Like I said it is a theory and it seemed to happen to me so I don't know but I do not discount paranormal happenings. I think they do and can occur.
