I've had alot of weird things happening around me & my home lately. First that I recognize was the flag on our mailbox was put up often sometimes more than once in a day with no explanation so we thought maybe it was kids or someone playing a prank on us so we hid a video camera and since then it's not happened.... then this week I've had two debit cards disappear out of my purse when I haven't been anywhere to have lost them they are just gone and in a garage that is locked and nobody else has had access. This this morning we get up to find that we have no hot water for our shower. My husband finds that our gas water heater has the piolet light out and it's supposed to be " automatic " if there's a issue and no way for a draft to have blown it out & we've lived here almost 8 years... so does anyone have any thoughts on this?

  1. Maybe your husband is doing stuff to freak you out

  2. I've seen two apparitions..one that my whole family witnessed..so yes something is out there..but your experiences don't seem to be out of the ordinary to the point that they can't/couldn't be explained.  Do you know anyone that knows who lived in your home prior to you?  They might be able to shed some light on the history of the house..if you really think it might be "ghosts/spirits".

  3. I think that most of these things have explanations other than paranormal. I would look for other causes first, then when you can find NO other explanation look into the possibility of a spirit being there.

  4. That is weird....

Maybe your house is haunted.     j/k

I don't believe in ghosts, but I DO believe in spirits. But I doubt they do that.

    Idk what to tell you.

  5. What is paranormal about having your pilot light go out? If you have lived there for 8 years and never had it serviced it is hardly surprising that it's going to malfunction.

  6. i honestly beleive in the supernatural and the media makes it so scary when its truly not. You prolly have a visitor, try to embrace it and maybe they'll leave you alone

  7. my cousin has stuff like that happend to her all her stuff keeps breaking down that beacuse what ever it is its sucking all the energy from your house your child can see this person because kids can so what you need to do is to buy a candle a saint michale candle and put your whole family name in it then go to a catholic church get holy water and put it in your house pray the our father prayer and do this every night before you go to bed and for your kids the one who can see him buy a guardin angel candle and lite it with his or name watch that one if the candle turns black on rime you need to repeat this over and over intill it stops let me know if it works

  8. When my neighbor's husband died, she said things in her house started to break down:   four things electronic went within 6 months, and her bushes in front of fhe house refused to grow.  A couples years later they just blossomed!

She is a pretty level headed person and has a PhD in child psychology---Jewish faith----and even she says that she thought it might be spirits of some sort.   Her husband's  death was sudden and maybe he was trying to reach her.   Time took care of this.

I once called a Feng Shui expert (I'm sorry I do not know how ot spell that) because I have  never felt right in my home---and lots of things are going wrong too----roof leaks, cellar floods, porch rotting, etc.  It can be overwhelming!   She suggested I call a space clearer.  Perhaps you can look that up on the internet.  Actually, just talking to the Feng Shui expert (someone who arranges furniture in the house to help with Chi) made me feel better.

You also can talk to a priest  or clergyman.  I think they would say a prayer for you.

I let go of my attachment to material things.   I have an inner calm and I do not let these things bother me.  Perhaps if you all work on this-----the spirits will go away.

But I do recommend trusting your instincts on this.  Nothing is funny or ridiculous if it bothers you.

God bless you.   I am sure you will work out your problem!

  9. I have a few ghosts in my house that like to move things around here and there. If it really bothers you, you can get a sage wand to burn and spread it around the house - don't forget the closets!

  10. Have a paster or priest over to bless your home...just in case.

  11. Yes, someone is stalking you or your wife, or either you or your wife has a secret that needs telling!

  12. Nothing seems THAT weird. But i do believe in ghosts...check the history of your home.

  13. No there r no ghost & ur weird for

    thinking that!

  14. I would get out of there, it don't sound good to me.

  15. Most of the things you mentioned probably have a non-paranormal answer.  For instance, some kids like to go by and fool with mailboxes.  I have had pilot lights go out several times.  But I don't discount your theory out-of-hand.  You didn't say whether all these things started happening recently or whether some have been throughout the eight years.  If it were a spirit or ghost, it should have been doing things all along.  Supposedly, they stay in one house, building, or wherever, rather than suddenly appearing.

I would like to say that I don't believe in ghosts or spirits, but I have had incidents that can't be explained.  For instance, my first husband died in an accident when we were very young.  I kept feeling like his presence was still around and that he wanted to tell me something.  My sister was staying with me, but I didn't say anything about that feeling because I didn't want to appear foolish.  The night after his funeral, the feeling was very strong and I tried hard to stay awake but fell asleep.  My sister suddenly jumped and said "Who's there".  When I asked her about it, she said that there had been a sort of glow at the foot of the bed, then it felt as if someone had come up to her side of the bed, then moved across to where I was.  I never got a verbal or open communication, but after that, I felt that he had stayed to tell me he was sorry for mistreating me and I no longer felt his presence.

So, you probably didn't need all that, but that is why I can't say that I don't believe in ghosts.  If you have one, though, it doesn't seem to want to harm you.

  16. If this is a ghost I suggest that you call a psychic medium to come out. They will be able to tell you or have the ghost move on to the other side. I also suggest you get the house blessed, that may not work for a long period of time though, as that isn't very stong enough to completely get rid of the ghost. You should "smudge" your house. It is an old native American ritual. Get sage and burn it in every room, and around the windows and every crease and corner of each wall. And eevry door way. Say in every room when you are fanning out the smoke, "I demand you to leave this house in the name of God." When you feel that the ghost left that room, say, "This room is now at peace, and only positive energy is welcome." Then move on to the next room. Oh yeah, before you go around your house, fan the smoke and say a little pray to every one's body that lives in your house, this will protect you, do that from head to toe. I suggest you order this stuff for the smudging ceremony:

    http://www.incensewarehouse.com/Desert-S...

(put a plate, something that wont catch on fire, under the sage as your burning it and walking around the house with it to catch any falling ashes.)

http://www.incensewarehouse.com/Lavender... ( you should burn lavander in a glass bowl, or something that won't catch on fire, this is for after the ceremony, this represents peace, that your house is clear of spirits.)

http://www.incensewarehouse.com/Smudging... (use this to fan out the smoke into the area)

You can also get books from this website to learn more on how to smudge.

here is a website that can kind of help on how to more:

    http://www.wehug.com/smudge-sage-ceremon...

(when you're smudging, have a window open in every room to release the spirit)

*Be careful to not catch anything on fire, just light the top of the sage with a match, if it goes out you can relight it.

*before all this, if you want to try this first before buying this, go around every room and say a prayer, and demand the ghost (in a calm voice/not scared) that it needs to go back to where it came from in the name of god) And ask god for guideence, if you want when you go around each room (with a wondow open) wear a rosery to protect yourself. Maybe take some holy water with you.

  17. Until you have evidence the mailbox flag is being moved by a ghost you must assume it's kids and/or the mailman.  Assuming ghosts exist, why would one bother flipping up the mailbox flag?

Either you lost the debit cards or they were stolen.  If ghosts exist, why would one steal what to it would be just another item in your purse.  Since debit cards have no value to a ghost but plenty of value to humans, it's safe to assume there is not a ghost at work here unless indicated otherwise by evidence to the contrary.

The pilot light will occasionally go out.  It's never supposed to happen, but it's happened to me many times.

  18. Would love to test your house, sounds promising. If you had to make the distinction, it is much more likely to be a spirit or poltergeist, definitely not a ghost. Any pubescent children in your household?

Scatter flower around things that have recurring activity. Make a jello mold and see if anyone records a hand print.

Unless there have been changes (alterations) made to the house recently or a teen in the house. I would not look to the paranormal for a solution.

Sounds like you have a prankster in your midst, you better find those credit cards though...

  19. I believe in spirits but they are in another dimension.

  20. No. I wish... sometimes after scary movies, but that's it.
